App license

For an App Store download, the app license is governed by Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, unless the App Store listing supplies a different applicable license. These product notes explain how fewlines works; they do not replace rights you have under applicable consumer law.

Your books

Import and use only material you are entitled to access and copy. fewlines does not remove DRM or provide a way to bypass a publisher’s protection. It extracts text for personal reading and may not preserve illustrations, tables or the original page layout.

Project Gutenberg and Unglue.it are independent sources. Book availability, copyright status and license conditions can differ by edition and country. Review the source page and the applicable license before downloading or using a book. A title being available in a catalog does not make it unrestricted everywhere.

Devices and cloud services

iCloud sync requires a compatible device, an Apple Account, available iCloud storage and a connection. System scheduling affects background sync, widgets and Live Activities. Keep your original book files; fewlines is not a general-purpose backup service.
