A thought for the next chapter
Let’s come back to this when there’s a little room.

Large cards show the sender, date, subject and preview. Open one to read, reply, or save an attachment. Move letters around the desk and gather them into groups.
Mail is arranged by the time between your visits. Conversations, newsletters and service notifications have their own place. Choose grouping by type, sender, or both.
Put a letter aside or snooze it for a time you choose. Archive a whole box when you’re done. Your arrangement, groups and saved-for-later choices stay on your Mac.
Connecting your mail
Choose “Sign in with Google” in MailPill and select your Gmail or Google Workspace account in your browser. MailPill asks to read and send mail and to update read status, stars, archive and trash. Folders are configured automatically.
Gmail connects to Google’s API from your Mac. Apple Mail can be closed for directly connected Gmail accounts. Other accounts can use an explicitly selected Apple Mail connection; those accounts continue to depend on Mail.
MailPill does not operate a server that receives your mailbox. Authorization tokens are saved in macOS Keychain, and the mail cache is local. If you enable the optional iCloud profile, connection credentials and preferences also sync through your private iCloud storage. Optional sender images and external email resources have their own controls.
